Content, not Contentious
Let your CV be the most positive 1-2 pages (please, no more) you've ever written. Never be negative about previous employees, it creates the wrong impression.
Mandatory inclusions, apart from name, address and contacts, are your qualifications, expertise and experience. Express yourself with confidence and let the quality of your writing and thought process reflect your individuality, but still keep it brief. Subtly articulate professional and academic achievements and use relevant terminology (buzzwords), but with discretion.
Highlight special proficiencies such as languages and computer skills.Page one should include your personal details clearly and neatly as well as the most important information. Remember, always type your CV - handwritten versions are not quite 21st Century. Always present it on good quality paper.
